AUSTIN, Texas, April 20, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Sopris Capital, a leading healthcare investment firm, is entering the drug cost transparency space with a new partnership with RazorMetrics, a rapidly growing healthcare technology company focused on lowering pharmacy costs for at-risk employers and health plans. The Series A investment of $6,000,000 was led by Sopris and other individual investors including long-term entrepreneurs Joel Trammell and Jonathan Weiner.

Along with the launch of the RazorMetrics Partnership Collective, they will be executing several program rollouts with large, strategic partners with an aggregate reach of over 59,000,000 employees and members in the second quarter of 2021. The new funds will be used to expand current operations to accommodate RazorMetrics’ exponential growth. This will be the last investment round necessary for the company.
